SyncPlus Redact is an Exchange ActiveSync content control solution.
ActiveSync-enabled devices synchronize all mailbox content, including messages containing sensitive or confidential information. SyncPlus Redact reduces the risk of unintended data exposure by identifying and controlling the synchronization of sensitive content.
The product can detect sensitive data such as credit card numbers, government identification numbers, message classifications, and other configurable patterns.
Based on configuration, SyncPlus Redact can:
- Block synchronization of sensitive content
- Redact specific content or message areas
- Report on synchronization events involving sensitive data
Reporting includes email, calendar, contacts, and notes.
SyncPlus Redact supports message classification and sensitivity markings and is compatible with third-party classification solutions.
